This book is the continuation of an autobiography that the author published in 2016, called Determination: It's what I'm All About. In that book, we met Denise, who lives with Cerebral Palsy and with an irrepressible determination to make the best of her life. More than that, her job is all about inspiring and enabling others with disabilities to push through their own obstacles. In this book, Denise turns to a wider audience, including those of us with less-obvious disabilities. She takes the reader on a journey of learning about, understanding, and responding to people as individuals. Her message resonates in a culture where we too quickly stereotype one another, settling for first impressions rather than taking the time to gain Knowledge, embrace Acceptance, and grow in Compassion for our fellow human beings.
