Synopsis

Alexander Campbell is a founder of the current Christian Churches, Churches of Christ, Disciples of Christ, and dozens of splinter denominations that he and others found clear back in the 1830s. His intention was not to start another denomination, rather, to generate a movement toward nondenominational Christian brotherhood. Nothing wrong with that. But his theology set him and his followers apart from everyone else thus creating another denominational sect. Mainly, his view of salvation by faith required baptism by immersion in order to obtain forgiveness of sins. This set him and his movement apart from all other American Christian denominations. This book examines his theology and demonstrates why he was wrong to insist that his made-up plan of salvation saves a sinner from hell. The author provides 25 ‘umpteenth’ reasons why Alexander Campbell’s theology is the product of his own imagination and not from the internal evidences of Scripture.
