Tom Rinderer, a retired research biologist, has been fishing Alaskan waters for salmon and halibut since 2007. For the last 40 years he has enjoyed developing recipes and cooking. With the ample bounty of Alaskan fishing trips, he has turned his culinary attention to salmon and halibut. In 2015, he produced his first cookbook, “WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH ALL THESE FISH?” The positive response to that cookbook for the preparation of salmon and halibut encouraged the production of a second cookbook devoted to the same topic. This second cookbook contains over 100 new salmon and halibut recipes inspired by Cajun, Italian, Thai, British, American, and Brazilian cuisines. Together these recipes provide an opportunity for home chefs to turn the bounty of an Alaskan fishing trip into a delightful variety of meals that are sure to please both family and guests. This cookbook:● is presented in an easy to use format,● has 101 recipes for producing delicious meals for frozen filets of salmon and halibut,● is an ideal companion for a gift of frozen filets of salmon and halibut,● and has wonderful comic illustrations by Nancy Haver (nancyhaver.com) featuring the book’s stars, Sam and Hal.
