Synopsis

What of Witch Zelma? According to legend, in the late 1700s, she barely escaped being prosecuted for witchcraft. Fleeing for her life from the townspeople of Splendor, she ran frantically up the deer trails of Marble Mountain where she lived out her life practicing magic by taunting a blue marble with whimsical dancing blue colors in the night sky until her natural death. Was she magical? Or was the blue marble magical?

No one ever found the marble, until one day on a picnic, Holden saw a blue glow from the red dirt on top of Marble Mountain. As he uncovered the partially covered blue marble, he at first thought it was a practical joke. But then his world started changing in magical ways.

Sherry E Engler is a member of the Raconteurs of Payson and writes articles for GYMOAZ. She attended the University of Arizona and received a diploma from the Institute of Children's Literature. She also received a diploma from the International Correspondence School in Master Art. Inspired by her passion for writing, she wrote Living with LEO: Law Enforcement Officer where she shares light-heartedly her observations being wife and mother to law enforcement officers. Sherry also is the author and illustrator of Daisy Doo! Daisy Doo? What? Who? This is a delightful fable for preschool age, promoting self-esteem and self-reliance as a green caterpillar, Daisy Doo, searches for her identity. Sherry Engler is married to Don Engler, who currently serves as the Chief of Police in Payson, Arizona. She has been a law enforcement supporter, spanning Don's career, for over 30 years of service. Sherry's daughter and son are also law enforcement officers, both serving as deputy sheriffs. As the wife of one law enforcement officer and the mother of two, Sherry Engler knows firsthand the many challenges the law enforcement profession may have on family life, which she shares in Living with LEO: Law Enforcement Officer.
