Roger Morante graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor's Degree in English/Creative Writing (1996) and from Pepperdine University in Malibu with a Masters in Education (2005). He is currently an AP US History and Geography high school teacher in Los Angeles, California who works with low-income inner city teenagers and has had marketable success with his students' passage of the APUSH exam each May. Prior to his teaching career, he was formerly a sports and news journalist as well as an editor for the Santa Monica Mirror Newspaper in Santa Monica, California.
