Synopsis

"I keep this book close, open it randomly and I'm inspired by both a short collection of lines and by reading an entire poem. This is curriculum for living a full, evocative, rich and accountable life. Such richness masquerading simply as a collection of poetry! Add this to your shelf and then? don't keep it there, but keep it close." Mary Anne Radmacher, Author/artist

"This book changed how I move through the world! I slowed down to see what I might be missing." Caren Albers, Poet

Grace Reflected is a journey you are invited to take. Its poems and essays plumb the depths of spirit and communion with the Divine and nature, while considering the nature of loss and change, and the meaning of spiritual activism. It embraces and holds with compassion the in-between times found on the path from grief to healing. It invites the reader to cross over the threshold from a small worldview to a wider one that looks honestly at the challenges facing the United States and the world, while at the same time exploring that smaller worldview and how we as individuals can contribute to a reimagined, more heart-centered future.

À propos de l'auteur

Lynda Allen is a poet, author, artist, and listener. All of her work whether it's writing, art, creating animal wisdom journals, or leading meditation begins with deep listening. She listens. Then she creates. In all of her creations she strives to inspire others to open their hearts and embrace their journey, both the dark and the light, with gentleness, love, and joy. Lynda has written three previous collections of poetry, Wild Divinity, Illumine, and Rest in the Knowing, and a spiritual handbook, The Rules of Creation.
