Synopsis

Nori loves her fruits and veggies! Follow her as she shows you how to help the friends in your tummy keep you happy and healthy!

In Your Tummy is a creative and colorful way to teach children the importance of eating healthy. Courtney does a terrific job of making a complex topic kid-friendly and digestible. The bonus recipes in the back are a treat!”
—Michele Jakubowski, 2013 Moonbeam Children’s Book Award Gold Winner, author of over 20 books for children

In Your Tummy does what many kid’s books on germs have failed to do: show children the importance of good microbes and their responsibility to keep these good bugs well fed.”
—Marie-Claire Arrieta Ph.D., Assistant Professor, University of Calgary and co-author of Let Them Eat Dirt

“Our family loves this book—especially our five-year-old. I was uncertain how he would react to a book without trucks or dinosaurs, but he was hooked after just a few pages. The illustrations and healthy decisions message are designed for children. In Your Tummy passed the real litmus test in two ways: 1. My son asks for repeat readings during bedtime, 2. My personal favorite: he will now pass on a glazed donut because he wants to eat healthy and ‘feed his good bracterium’ like in the book. This book is a keeper.”
—Chris Garcia-Halenar, author of award-winning Xander’s Story

“Thank you, Courtney, for educating children on the importance of a healthy microbiome. It’s never too early to learn how your body works. I only wish I had this book when I was young! I can’t wait to share it with our youngest patients.”
—Dr. Raphael Kellman, founder of “Microbiome Medicine,” author of several bestselling books, and Medical Director of the Kellman Center for Integrative and Functional Medicine
