This a short collection of poems that anguishes to express nuanced thought in lyrical words as they explore work, life, and beauty. These poems are a distilled canon of human qualities, agonies, and aspirations - albeit unmeasured - that I owe my growth. These generative poems are postulates in summary to be more, first for me, and to anyone else that may nod in recognition. Language is lustrous. From the time first rays emerge from the pregnant sea, all life, unconsciously, in chaotic movement settles to seek a crumb of beauty. This beauty: sometimes a surprise, sometimes a truth, sometimes an outpouring of gorgeous words. In the habit of a poet, an immersive soul stands witness to the goodness of that time and wishes language at hand can adequately document. Here is a glimpse of an unapologetic eastern sensibility expressed in puzzling revelations of Emily Dickinson. Come and sample the universal cravings for discovery, truth, and beauty, especially the kind which goes unseen, or remains to be said. Have you ever peered into the heart of one that is incapable of not being a craftsman: be that a painter, a builder, or a coder. Do you know how to recognize one? Do you know why they do what they do? What beauty circles their veins? Poets, some widely known and some less so, like Emily Dickinson, Basho (17th Century Japanese), Du Fu (7th Century Chinese), Krishna Sastry (20th Century Telugu), Shel Silverstein, Pasternak, and Tagore have given me, generously, a tour of the beautiful. If you find them in similar awe, I am on the same road as you, and between these covers are spoken words I would wonder with you then, gladly. - Author, Satya Komatineni
