Synopsis

As an Ozark freelance writer, Laura L. Valenti has written hundreds of newspaper and magazine features over the years. She is also a ten year veteran of the Laclede County Sheriff's Department where she also served as their jail administrator for more than three years. She is the author of non-fiction books such as "Ozark Meth: A Journey of Destruction and Deliverance" and several novels, including a series on Bennett Spring, "The Heart of the Spring", a jewel of the Ozarks. She lives with her husband, Warren near Bennett Spring, Missouri.
