Synopsis

For many Christians, faith can be challenging to navigate. The lessons Jesus teaches us in the New Testament imparts much-needed wisdom, but practicing them in the modern world can seem like an impossible high-wire act with no room for error. We are called to love one another in the same manner that God loves us. What does that mean? What is love? How can we function in an ever increasingly secular world where our faith is the source of ridicule? If a gay couple requests a wedding cake, how can the Christian baker be faithful to his beliefs and still love them as God's children? How can we accept personal tragedy as a part of Gods plan? The answer is looking at the world through God's eyes.A Bigger Picture: Viewing the World Through God's Eyes tells us to look for answers through the eyes of our Creator. Author Danny B. Powell beautifully illustrates this through numerous examples taken from the modern world and applying the lessons Jesus taught. Our faith is not something to be taken lightly, but it must come from the heart. Only then will we understand God's plan for us. Once we see everything through His eyes, the path set before us will shine as bright as the heavens.
