Kay Goodnight retired as an educator after twenty-nine years teaching secondary students and adults. Now she pursues her writing career full time, primarily writing fiction for children with occasional side trips into short stories and nonfiction. In addition to writing, Kay enjoys cross stitching, painting, jewelry making, and spoiling her two granddaughters.
