Ancient, lost music and magic. A race of precocious creatures. And an impossible search, launched by improbable friends...
Dangerous. Thrilling. In 2065 no more exciting career exists than Trader on the Earth-Moon-Mars loop.
At White Sands Space Academy Ozzie Reed tastes the launch fumes already. But a sure thing goes bad and throws him into a fight for his right to fly.
And the fight threatens far more than just his own dreams.
In the dawning days of space travel the past and future intersect — in a mesmerizing adventure for fans of scifi and fantasy.
The Ibis Door is Book 1 in the Dreamers series.
Editorial Reviews
The Ibis Door is a delightful mix of adventure, reality, fantasy and magic... I loved the integrity of the characters, their ability to work together, their creative spirit, their respect for one another and in the end having been real friends to one another. Both theoretical and real issues are addressed with problem solving, tastefully written, fun and uplifting. V.
The first sign of a good story is that you look forward to picking the book up again the next day to read some more. I always enjoy a good scifi/fantasy story and this story does not disappoint. Also the characters are well developed and likable. The best I can say is that I eagerly await the next book, so very well done! J.C.
I enjoyed the pace and storyline and the plot really thickened towards the end. I'm looking forward to book two! G.
I really enjoyed seeing the world from the characters' viewpoint and how they shared their ideas with others. Loved the style used to present the four main characters. Hard to put down. Fascinating little gems on life and living and spiritual possibilities included in the story. Can't wait for the next in the series. MG
I always like a story that is a series. Hence once I absorb and begin to understand the characters, I want to continue with their adventure along with where their future journeys head me. Pure enjoyment ... Hooked on the series, a definite read when the next comes out.
It was a perfect read. This book is why it is so fun to get lost in a book. D
It was hard to stop reading! I enjoyed this book tremendously. Looking forward to the second book "The Singer"! JH
A highly enjoyable read. JM
I loved this fast moving fantasy sci-fi adventure. It had all the flavours of young superheroes in motion. It rekindled hope and it reminded me of my own courage and optimism in adversity. It was an easy read full of action, hints of romance and seemingly unsolvable mysteries. My only disappointment was I had to wait for the sequel. But once I finally got my hands on it, I was again immersed, and at home with my characters. SM
I really liked this book. Especially the friendships formed that last through hard times. Fun to read and keeps your attention. I love learning some about other parts of the world. CH
