“Intriguing characters, foreshadowing, and suspense…” — Wayne Thomas Batson, bestselling author, The Door Within Trilogy

Thousands of readers, young and old, have been captivated by Tom and Sarah, orphans turned master detectives and guardians of the Britfield dynasty!

Tom and Sarah’s heroic mission will decide the fate of the British Empire. Six months after their ferry capsizes in the English Channel, the two friends are trapped on an island fortress, facing an entirely new enemy: a nefarious and clandestine group that will do anything to protect the royal bloodline.

The chase is on.

Their answers and Tom’s true identity are hidden at Castle Chambord in the Loire River Valley, France, and they’re as close as they’ve ever been. Tom and Sarah take in the twinkling lights of Paris at night, race through the Cathédrale Notre-Dame, dangle from a ledge in the Eiffel Tower, and slink through ancient back channels, hunted by an assassin who will stop at nothing to save the British throne.

Can Tom and Sarah evade his clutches and make it to the castle in time to reveal the biggest secret of all?

Aided by old friends and new allies, Tom and Sarah’s thrilling international adventure in Britfield and the Rise of the Lion is filled with twists and turns, unexpected betrayals, and life-changing revelations.

A celebration of courage, friendship, and mischief, this book is an instant classic.

The Britfield Series, a combination of C.S. Lewis and Dan Brown, is ideal for pre-teens, YA fans, and readers of all ages, and provides stunning historical and geographical detail to enrich the reading experience.
