Synopsis

This whole thing got started when God helped me remember all that He had provided for me while I was going through a time of fear, anger and hopelessness. God used the story of Elijah from 3,000 years ago to remind me that He was protecting and providing for me today. I wrote a workbook for adults to share my story and offer a way for adults to process their stories. After writing the workbook, I spoke to a large gathering of women and shared my story and Elijah’s story. This talk led to a book that went into more detail than the workbook linking my story with Elijah’s journey.I thought it would be fun to adapt The Elijah Project adult class for my youth group. The Elijah Project for Teens is the result of the adaptation. It doesn’t matter how old you are, we all need to remember that God is protecting and providing for us today.Written and illustrated for younger readers, this workbook is based on a strengths perspective, drawing on the truth of the Bible that God is enough. He is all we need.
