Lee Jenkins' most recent education book is entitled How to Create a Perfect School: Maintain Students' Motivation and Love of Learning from Kindergarten through 12th Grade. He describes the major education habits that destroy kids love of learning and replacements for each of these inherited practices. Unfortunately, the loss of the intrinsic desire to learn for far too many children, begins with school reading programs. This need not occur. With Lee's early readers, both Bible and Aesop, parents and teachers together can make learning to read so joyful that kids forget how they learned to read. Concurrently, the stories can be so powerful they are remembered for life. Lee Jenkins is a career public school educator who provides staff development and keynotes based upon his process described in How to Create a Perfect School. He works with public, charter and Christian (Protestant and Catholic) schools delivering the same replacements for poor inherited schooling habits.
