Well known for its spectacular fall foliage, Lost Maples offers so much more year-round, including over 10 miles of hiking trails, fishing, picnic and camping facilities, and some of the best stargazing in Texas. The park consists of 2,900 acres of rugged and rocky trails leading to panoramic vistas, shady canyons, seasonal wildflowers, trickling streams and over 200 species of birds – a great place to explore for day visitors, campers and backpackers.
