Synopsis

These whimsical, fictional stories about cowboys and Native Americans are quick imaginary journeys from the past or glimpses of the bygone times slipping into the present. The objective is to invite the reader into the realities of survival, community, and the shared humanity we all have with others.
While the characters are named, none of them walked the planet to the best of our knowledge. Each character is a figment of the author’s rich imagination, just as the situations they face may not be historically accurate. The richness of the stories lies in portraying the connectedness we all have to each other and how closely linked to nature.
The wonderful thing about imagination is the unlimited supply of what-ifs and possibilities. It is our hope, you get a sense of the courage and integrity the past etches on our future. The echoes of those gone before us flow through the wind.
