Synopsis

London Lewis should be celebrating the happiest time of her life but instead she and her fiancé Greg Gordon need to deal with the constant fighting between their families. The couple spent months trying to find ways to mend their families broken relationship with no success. Finally fed up, London and Greg decided to give their families one final opportunity to improve their behavior, or they would elope and move far away. This ultimatum inspired London's dad, Logan Lewis Sr. to take the first step to mending the rift between the feuding families.

London also had to deal with the shenanigans of Greg's twin sister Gracey and his mom Gloria refusal to accept her into their family. While trying to take this is stride, London knew it was her past actions against her now sister-in-law, Naomi that was coming back to haunt her. London did everything she could to try to stop her twin brother, Logan from marrying Naomi. Now with a clearer understanding and maturity, London had come to accept Naomi as the sister she never had. Will London and Greg be successful in getting married with their family's blessings or will they have to run off to start a new life without the families they love and cherish?

Diana Carter was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She has a bachelor's degree in Marketing/Accounting from Detroit College of Business; Master's in Human Resources Management from Davenport University; Master's in Management from University of Phoenix; and working towards her DBA (Doctoral of Business Administration) in Organizational Leadership. She has worked for Adhesive Systems, Inc., St. Martha's Episcopal Church, Cengage Learning/Gale, and currently working at Cortech, Inc. Diana is a divorced mother of three and grandmother of twelve. Diana is the author of fifteen titles, four were published through Outskirts Press: The three-book Broken Promises series and single title Dark Revenge: The Trey Taylor Story. She founded Let's Do This Publishing in July 2017 where she published her last eleven titles. These titles include: the Spin-off to the Broken Promises series: In The Name of Justice: The Erica Blackstone Chronicles; the five-book The Sister Factor series; books two and three in the Dark Revenge series, When Time Runs Out: Tara's Quest for Vengeance and Dark Revenge, TJ The Forgotten Brother; single title The Candidate: The Race to the Top; the first book in her romance series, Unbreakable: When Two Hearts Become One; and The Making of a Legend: Neek's Rise to Fame. Diana has rewritten the books that were published by Outskirts Press. These books include: Broken Promises books one-three and Dark Revenge: The Trey Taylor Story. Diana hobbies include: reading, writing, and bowling. Her first book: Broken Promises: Shattered Dreams was published on April 10, 2014. She has participated in many bowling leagues and while at Cengage Learning she coordinated an employee bowling league as part of their activities program. She is also working on promoting her books and publishing business. She had several books signings in 2018 and 2019. She is working with other writers to make their dream of becoming a published author a reality.
