Synopsis

"As we arrived in Houston Texas I knew in my heart that my time had come to an end. I had to face the wrath of Harris County. I pretended to be tough for my mom but inside I wanted to disappear, seeing her so emotional changed me forever. I beat myself up in the back of that police car. I went from a straight A student with a full scholarship to a HBCU, to a black female college dropout, with a criminal record. In my darkest hours I made a promise to God, and myself, that I would change my life and that's exactly what I did." -Meleka McGeeChef Meleka McGee for the first time, is sharing her rags to riches story, giving it to you raw and uncut, how she went from small town girl, to convicted felon, to getting her Flava Back!
