It lets them be out during the day without turning to stone. They escaped the 17th-century Swedish colony in the NJ Pine Belt. Christopher Jonathan Hulton narrates the tales. He lives in the Thousand Acre Woods, soon after the Civil War. The tales brim with Native American lore and stories of their neighbor, the Jersey Devil. The tales are light-hearted in tone, like a good Winnie the Pooh story, but go deep, like an ancient Sufi tale.
