Synopsis

This book is about, through the grace of God, becoming and increasing in the life of a Christian mystic, of a God-seeing man. It is about, considering for a moment, what Ruusbroec called “the wayless inward exercise”. The goal, of course, being experiencing “the divine fruit of union”, the indwelling presence of God. Christian writers since the first century have written much about their experiences (and developed theology behind) their personal pursuit of God. Their writings were motivated by the desire to aid other Christians in their own walk with the Lord. In that same spirit, this book is being written.
