Synopsis

Some Days Are Ashes is a new collection of poems, limericks and illustrations by Christian DeWild. This pocket sized read ranges from fun introspective verses that leads the mind into a hidden melody such as Norman went to the mortuary to read his poems aloud (He knew that it was quiet and he'd have a captive crowd) to amusingly gross lines that bring out the adolescent snicker such as Poor old Emily Rose (The escalator took her toes). Each poem is penciled and inked with adroit images that create a sense of motion and humor to their verse counterpart. Mr. DeWild delivers a short fun family read that you can leave on the coffee table.
