Synopsis
Author Tiffany Williford wrote her first angel book, Daddy is an Angel for her young daughters when her late husband died from colorectal cancer. The book was created out of necessity, after looking but not finding the right words and materials online and in libraries to explain to her daughters about their dad’s death. Daddy is an Angel and this book; Mommy is an Angel was written to help parents be able to talk to their children about the heavy topic of death and the questions that come along. The character gives perspective from a young girl getting understanding of her mom’s death. With its heartwarming and whimsical illustrations, Mommy is an Angel is a great book for any parent, caregiver, or grandparent to help explain death of a loved one to a child. Appropriate for ages 3 to 12. Part of proceeds from this book goes to charity.
