My Pen, My Thoughts is a collection of poems written by Natarsia Joye over the last 25+ years. While these poems were solely written for private expression, she was encouraged to share her words. In these pages you will find selections that will frustrate you, anger you, offend you, cause you to question your beliefs and reflect upon your life and that of others. Each poem is published as they were originally written over those years.My Pen, My Thoughts consists of five (5) sections: Insecurity, Courage, Living in America, Love (Myself & Others), Romance / Intimacy (Myself & Others) and Too Black Too Strong. Natarsia Joye was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. She began writing at the age of 9 when her parents gave her a diary to express her thoughts and feelings.
