Heaven banished him. Hell set him in action. And mankind needs to destroy him.
For thousands of years, the Angel of Death has challenged authorities worldwide with sinister games of murder. The abduction of a 17-year-old celebrity begins a new game that pushes humanity closer to the brink of extinction.
Private Investigator Jack Calloway has died twice in his desperate quest to save children lost in a world of cruelty. Now he accepts a case that questions the boundaries of his faith and sanity as he follows a twisted trail of death.
FBI Agent Harper Caster has been working the same mystifying case for the last four years. In fact, it’s the only case he’s allowed to pursue. Harper is one of the few who knows the true identity of the man who has crossed centuries of time, a man who never seems to die.
The epic battle between Heaven and Hell finds familiar ground as humanity fights to survive an army of fallen angels.
Here on Earth, the war begins again.
What a roller coaster! This was such an exciting read! The short chapters often ending in cliffhangers kept me turning pages. The story, the clues, the small victories and losses created so many highs and lows for the characters.
I was enthralled with the game the angel created and loved that he was always one step ahead. Not that I wanted the detectives to lose, but the twists made the story that much more exciting. Every time you think it’s over, it’s not!
