Heidi Edwards Dunn teaches quilters how to choose great fabrics for their quilts, so that they love their finished quilts even more. Her company Dynamic Quilting offers her book Conquering Color & Fabric and online courses and resources for learning about color and fabric at dynamicquilting.com. Heidi explores dramatic relationships between color and light through fiber, textures and embellishments. A quilter for over two decades, Heidi's wall hangings are mostly structural and geometrically based works, along with a few representational landscapes. Her signature use of color, texture, and pattern infuse her work. A juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen, the oldest juried fine craft organization in the nation, Heidi's work has been exhibited at a dozen Annual Craftsmen's Fairs and shown at several art exhibits in New Hampshire. Her passion for art and craft led her to work with non-profit organizations that serve nationally-known playwrights, performing artists, master furniture makers and juried craftspeople. She currently is the education and communications director at the NH Small Business Development Center. Choosing fabrics is Heidi's favorite part of quilting, and she is so excited to offer you her first book, Conquering Color & Fabric and The Dynamic Quilting Color & Fabric Plan(TM) and other resources at dynamicquilting.com. Heidi and her husband, Tom, live in Henniker, New Hampshire, where they raised their four now twenty-something children.
