As an M&A attorney, David earned an AV Preeminent Rating - the highest rating available from Martindale-Hubbell. David has represented businesses through their formation, governance, taxation, reorganization, acquisition, and dissolution. David practiced corporate securities law at Sidley Austin Brown & Wood on Wall Street and at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Silicon Valley. In Silicon Valley, David worked on venture capital financings, initial public offerings, employee stock option plans, and mergers & acquisitions. On Wall Street, David counseled clients through public offerings of securities and international business transactions. David is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, he worked as a senior accountant for Deloitte, and he earned the Elijah Watt Sells Award for his outstanding performance on the CPA exam. David graduated first in his class from the University of Florida's Fisher School of Accounting, and he earned his Juris Doctor with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
