How can you ensure you’re prepared to exit your business under your terms – and avoid an “involuntary” exit?
It all starts with a plan – and you should start that plan much sooner than you think. Many young entrepreneurs try to sell too early, while many seasoned business owners tend to start the process too late.
The purpose of this book is to avoid an involuntary exit – and help you achieve success through the exit strategy you choose.
Learn the 5 alternatives to exit your business. You want to take control of your exit plan to make it a positive one. Otherwise, an involuntary exit can be enforced by 7 occurrences.
Selling a business is a job in and of itself – and the process could take years. You want to educate yourself on the process, the players, and how to plan for a successful sale.
The first day you start a business is the day you start planning. If you don’t have a plan for how to sell your business, you really don’t own a business – you own a job.
David King’s insightful Selling Your Business will help owners of privately-owned businesses prepare for this major milestone.
Although selling a business may be the American dream, common pitfalls along the way may leave you with far less than you expected – after a confusing, lengthy, and difficult process.
Start now and begin preparing, with the knowledge to get you through to the finish line. You’ll walk through the business sale process, with useful tips to help guide your decision-making before and during the sale.
