What follows are a collection of stories, essays, thoughts, teachings, a-ha moments, parables and one-liners all mushed together, with one thing in common, they all germinated with a post on Facebook.Facebook. Over two billions active users. Five new profiles created every second. It takes up about 20% of the time the average person spends on their phone, second only too porn. I love Facebook. There, I admit it. I’ve been a member since August 2008, shorter than some (I didn’t go to Harvard where Facebook was allegedly created to rate coeds who refused to sleep with the founders, nor did I live in Silicon Valley, the tech capital of the world and, most importantly, I really didn’t want to leave Prodigy. I still miss the days when Sears ruled the Internet) but, longer than most. I love being able to experience what my friends, some who I haven’t seen in thirty years, are eating for breakfast, where they’re going on vacation and, most importantly, how they’ve aged compared to me.
