Synopsis

Wanted! Experienced safety supervisor to work in an experimental weapons facility. Must have a practical mind, look ravishing in a lab coat, and be willing to use a flamethrower if things take a turn for the worse. Serious applicants only, please.

When Mary Sanderson first sees the job posting online, she thinks it's a practical joke. But having no alternatives in the job market, she decides to inquire about the posting anyway, if only to satiate her curiosity.

After a strange interview and an even stranger placement test, she soon realizes just how important her new position will be for her crew of misfit scientists as they battle a cosmic entity from beyond the stars.

Join Mary for her first horror/comedy adventure in... SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY!

Included in the paperback version: A bonus short story!
