Synopsis

A story of imagination and Tanzanian culture through the eyes of a little boy. The day starts out boring for this little African boy. He has nothing to play with, and nothing fun to do. Walking through the village, a monkey and mouse try to cheer him up. Then the fun begins as oilcans, flip-flops, and even sticks come to life. Young readers enjoy the rhythm of repeating words. At the same time, they learn what it's like to be a child in an African village.

Reading Flip Flop Drip Drop with your child will help in developing their language skills and creativity. Plus the illustrations introduce them to the beauty of Tanzania, East Africa.

A propos du livre

À propos de l'auteur

Coni Knepper is a children's books author whose passion is to write about the children living in Tanzania, East Africa, where she and her husband reside full time. She brings life and humour to what could be considered a culture of poverty. They started a non-profit, Hope of the Nations, in 2003. Opening a Primary School for street kids and those who would not have a chance for an education is a dream come true. Now, in 2020 the school is completely managed by Nationals. All the teachers are Tanzanian. Coni loves to encourage them and bring them goodies, but she has handed over the reins to the leadership she poured into for over fifteen years. She and her husband have three grown children and eight grandchildren. All of whom visit when they can. Social media is their best friend when it comes to seeing their grandchildren.
