Synopsis

Louie Pyle, owner of Gas N Go convenience stores, is contemplating his future. Since his wife divorced him and their kids declared independence, Louie is feeling about as useful as the one necktie hanging in his closet.

As the 2020 pandemic crosses the Fallam County Line, he faces untoward provocations from an illegal cigarette cartel, his mama Betty Doris who wants to move in with him, and visits from the ghost of his mentor Henry Lee.

Things take a turn for the better when Lupita Quinn, a woman Louie admires from afar, shows an interest in helping him save his business.

Stay Awhile Longer, a Mt Pleasant story, is a view into the world of small town America and how its citizens adapt to global encroachment.
