Completely Me is a story about a little girl who never noticed there was something different about herself until others pointed it out. When she decides to stand up for herself, she teaches the townspeople an important lesson about acceptance.
“This heartfelt story addresses the special challenges and social interactions of children with disabilities with empathy and charm.”“Completely Me is a celebration of life. It is a clarion call to all children (and their adults) to be all they can be. Completely Me inspires young readers to recognize that while each of us is different, we are each perfect in our own way. Completely Me is an important book with a special message that will resonate in youngsters, and stay with them for a lifetime.”
—Anita Meinbach, Ed.D., Former Clinical Associate Professor, University of Miami School of Teaching and Learning
“Beneath the context in this magical little book, Completely Me has an underlying honesty and truth that Justine Green touches with her beautiful words. Adults and children alike will be enriched by her message. Read and enjoy.”
—Ellen Brazer, Author of Clouds Across the Sun, And So It Was Written, and The Wondering Jew: My Journey into Judaism

Justine Green, Ed.D. is an educator, author, and disability advocate based in Boca Raton, Florida, where she currently serves as the Principal at Tamim Academy. Justine was born with atresia and microtia. Microtia is a condition where the outer ear does not develop properly and atresia is the absence of the ear canal, leaving her deaf in her left ear. Knowing she was different from birth, and boasting three reconstructive surgeries under her belt, Justine learned to read lips and worked hard through school. She used her disability as motivation instead of an excuse, and ultimately found her life's purpose through these challenges. Her passion for inspiring others moved her to write a story based on her own life, Completely Me, to teach readers to love themselves and others, and that everyone's imperfections are what make them perfect.
Ana Luísa Silva is a Portuguese multimedia artist specializing in illustration, 3D animation, and motion graphics. While she studied audiovisual, multimedia, and 3D animation in college, she is a self-taught illustrator who considers drawing her greatest passion. As a visually-impaired artist with congenital glaucoma, she embodies the Completely Me spirit and was able to successfully provide the perfect visual complement to the author's powerful message.
