Through this story, your child will learn about empathy, inclusion, and the courage it takes to try new things. When Zak notices his friend Ollie feeling left out and afraid to swim, he chooses kindness - and in doing so, changes Ollie's whole world. A set of questions at the end of the book will help you teach your child how to recognize their own feelings, understand the feelings of others, and find the confidence to face their fears.
"Be a Friend Like Zak" makes a wonderful gift for any occasion and carries a message of empathy and encouragement that will endure for lifetimes - because when we show up for others, everyone wins.
