À propos des auteurs

Jennifer Schmidt grew up in a small town in Maine. As a child she loved spending hours in the meadows and woods surrounding her home exploring nature. She graduated with honors from Goucher College with a degree in biology and went on to become a family medicine and hospice physician. She lives with her husband, two kids, dogs and cat in Southern Maryland.

Christina Allen is an illustrator, publisher, and has been a professional artist for over 40 years. Her books have won seven National Awards. Other books illustrated by Christina include "A Farmer's Alphabet," "Red's First Snow," and "Rainbow people." She live on a sustainable farm in Maryland with her husband, two cats, sheep, heritage chickens and rare-breed turkeys.
