Synopsis

The Legend of the Santa Stocking tells the story of

a financially-struggling family that decides to put reminders of why each other

are special into their stockings instead of store-bought presents. The

result was "the best Christmas ever". It provides a model for parents to

increase family bonding and reduce spending in a way that makes everyone feel

beloved and special. It also takes away pressure for Santa Claus to be seen as

a real person who brings lots of presents. The result is a feel-good story that

provides a framework that every family can use to find joy through appreciating

one another. This book helps support children whose families are going through economically challenging times. It is also helpful to support parents who want their children to learn that Santa is supposed to deliver more than presents - through the use of the Santa Spirit, which anyone can share, we can give people what we need the most - love.
