Synopsis

This heartwarming story was created to help little ones navigate through this pandemic while being helpful, humorous and hopeful. Written in "first doggy," children can easily relate to Jake's experiences as he shifts to online learning, is forced to stay home more often and dearly misses his friends. Jake's story helps children learn they are not alone in this big world of emotions and helps them discover gratitude and kindness. This book gives parents and caregivers an opening for more heartfelt conversations with their young ones and it inspires hope for the future. Both children and adults alike love finding Jake's squirrel friend, Stuart, throughout the book. This is an uplifting, feel-good type of book and a treasured keepsake to share with future generations about this historic time we are all living through.
