À propos des auteurs

Daniel is a storyteller who has worked as a primary grades' teacher for the past 30 years. Throughout that time, hundreds of stories have been told to children ranging from 7 - 14 years old. Some of these stories were created specifically with individual students in mind. The Eagle Flew is one of these. Daniel Stokes currently lives with his wife in Portland Oregon where he spends time training teachers in the art of poetry and storytelling in the classroom.

Aisha spent her first decade in Hiroshima, Japan before moving to Southern Oregon. Though art has always been a passion, Aisha's journey has brought her to a career in wildland fire management with a keen dedication to stewarding our earth. She is also currently pursuing a Masters in Natural Resources Stewardship and hopes her illustrations will spark curiosity in children to venture into the natural world.
