Synopsis

Are you concerned about how your children are going to be affected by the challenges and crises in this world? Are you starting to hear more and more about poverty, immigration, and human trafficking on the news? Do you sometimes wonder how you can talk with your kids about these kinds of difficult and, sometimes, scary topics? How can your kids make a difference in this world and bring positive change?

Join Pierre and his mother as they go on a journey of discovery together. Pierre learns that he can make a difference in this world!

Pierre’s mother works at a safe house. “What’s a safe house?” he wonders. In a real-life conversation with his mother, eight-year-old Pierre finds answers to his questions. Pierre experiences the joy of going to a safe house and realizes there’s nothing to fear. He wants to go back to help others and make a difference in this world. This story brings a difficult, global topic to a child’s level in a heartfelt conversation between a parent and a child.

Partial proceeds of the book will go to Habiba and the safe house work in Spain.
