Synopsis
Inspired by a true story, the young man's journey to find his long-lost family, as well as his own identity, will touch your heart as well as your funny bone.
Autumn, 1942: A four-month-old baby is kidnapped. The crime is not reported to the police and a search for the infant is never undertaken. The event launches a tangled web of deception, affecting the lives of the anguished mother, and her lost child, for decades to come.
Spring, 1976: The missing baby is now a thirty-four-year-old gay man living in San Francisco. Unexpected circumstances bring to light the long-hidden kidnapping. Anger and shame from what he learns about his unknown past is about to explode. His plan? Go back to the scene of the crime. Find both birth parents. Confront them and demand the truth of what happened the summer he was born. What could go wrong?

À propos de l?auteur
James W. Sutherland always had an interest in writing, but he arrived at the party late in life. He was sixty-eight years old when he wrote and self-published his first book, 'Love, Your Mother-Like It or Not'. Seven years later he began writing 'Tangled Webs', a story inspired by the above memoir. Jim was born in Connecticut and grew up in Colorado. He has lived in Waikiki, San Francisco, and Portland. He now lives in The City of Subdued Excitement-Bellingham, located in the stunningly beautiful northwest corner of the state of Washington. Jim is currently working on a sequel to 'Tangled Webs', and also a collection of short stories.
