Although Heather's background is in the medical field, her love for reading and writing has always been a significant part of her life. In her spare time, she has written over 1500 articles for a local online newspaper, the Kingston Herald, showcasing her passion for storytelling and her keen eye for detail. However, Heather's true passion lies in writing children's literature. She first discovered this love over 34 years ago when she wrote her debut book, 'September Adventures: The Little Red Leaf Gets Lost.' This book, which is now part of a collection called the Monthly Adventure Series, focuses on a new character and a valuable lesson each month. Heather's creative mind and vivid imagination bring these characters to life, making them relatable and lovable for children of all ages.
