Amy Fibbitts was born in the middle of England where she first began to grow up. Always delighted by plants, she began sowing and scattering seeds at a very young age to replenish the wild flowers that she'd accidentally picked when no one was watching. As she continued to grow up in the south of England she learned to grow apple trees from some of her fruit-munching left-overs and, when they were strong enough, planted the young trees in messy places where no one was watching. She now lives happily in the north of England where she illustrates children's books, eats fruit and feeds the seagulls when no one's watching.
