Synopsis

...Be alert, be present.
I’m about to do something brand-new.
It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is!
I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.
- Isaiah 43:18-19 (MSG)

Many are perplexed by the significant shifts in our world today. Things are changing in politics, economics, and the very fabric of our society. Will the Church lag behind, battered by the winds of change, or be the true pioneer God has called her to be?

The Christian Church needs a reformation as far reaching as 500 years ago. Do we see the need for revival and are we willing to pay the price of leaving behind the familiar to prepare new wineskins for new wine?

Revival Ready explores the practical implications for individuals, families and churches living in these times of transformation. Steve and Esther are filled with hope and convinced that this is the Church’s finest hour. Drawing upon a careful study of the Scriptures, and many years in Christian leadership, they help the reader rethink discipleship, church and the Kingdom of God.

• Chris Galanos, author of From Megachurch to Multiplication: A Church’s Journey Toward Movement

As Henry Blackaby has often said, “Prayer & testimony are the fuel of revival.” Get ready because this book has both! Steve & Esther share a powerful testimony of how God has transformed their lives & their church by the daily guidance of and obedience to the Holy Spirit. And their multiplication of prayer both personally and corporately has fanned the flames of the fresh fire that God has ignited in their hearts. We need more stories of men & women stepping out in faith and attempting seemingly impossible things for God. This book is an example of that. You’ll be inspired by their faith!

• John Glass, Former General Superintendent of Elim Pentecostal Churches & Former Chair of Council for the Evangelical Alliance

Forged on the anvil of biblical research and distilled in the crucible of rich pastoral experience, ‘Revival Ready’ must surely become the resource that anyone with a passion for God and hunger for revival will now instinctively reach for. Its authors, known to me for many years, are totally authentic exponents of this vital subject and have been increasingly influential internationally as leaders with a strong apostolic anointing. The message of the Bible is changeless but the Church, to be effective must be an ever-flexible wineskin. ‘Revival Ready’ tells us not only the ‘Why’ but, unlike so many other books on this subject, also offers us the ’How’. I unreservedly recommend this book.

• Josh Howard, Regional Director of NewThing Network (Central Asia) & Overseer of the Central India Christian Mission’s church-planting school

Ready or not, revival is coming to the global Church! God is on the move and He longs for you to be a part of what He is doing in the Nations. If you truly want to prepare your heart and step into the flood of God’s love that is sweeping the globe, this book is one that you cannot miss! Steve and Esther have poured their heart and soul into every single page in order to make sure that every single person possible is ready to be involved in the greatest outpouring of God’s Spirit that the world has ever seen. With the Bible in one hand and this book in the other, devour every word and do what they suggest. You won’t regret it! The revival has already begun…it’s time for us to ready our hearts and our souls and jump in…and this book will help you do it.
