Synopsis

Stage actress Marie Gold and socialite Maria Fitzherbert have one thing in common: they both loved George IV, a man who could never be theirs; Queen Caroline made sure of that.
George IV still loves Maria Fitzherbert and wants to find a way to rekindle his romance with her. He calls upon a travelling mesmerist to come up with a solution. The mesmerist suggests a love potion. George hosts a banquet at the Royal Pavilion and invites Maria to attend. Will Maria succumb to the King's affections one last time?
