How can we sustain a dharma orientation whilst participating in our challenging complex world? This is a question for all Buddhists and the 6 chapters in “Natural Freedom” address this question from the dzogchen view. Dzogchen points to the natural and intrinsic freedom of our mind but we have become preoccupied and entangled with its transient content. Grasping at illusory appearances as if they were real, our involvement obscures the open ground of all appearances.
This book indicates how the strategies of our ego-self to find ‘freedom’ are actually obscuring our intrinsic freedom. When we attend to the presentation of how our mind actually is, we see that obscurations are illusions and will vanish by themselves. Relax, and like a snake unknotting, let the knots go free.
