The stories related in this book cover the tail end of the hippie era, the dramatic rise and fall of punk sensibilities, and the coming of the new wave; student involvement in squatter's rights, demonstrations, and politics, always unaware of the coming culture and political shocks that were to end the dream-life of the 1960s and 1970s.
