"While reading this book I actually felt I was sitting in a cosy cafe having a coffee with Hannah herself as she was telling me her story, her childhood memories and life experiences...grab a copy of this masterpiece for yourself. You won't regret it!" The Bookish Hermit, Feb 22.

"There is so much about this book which is brilliant. The quality of the writing. She captures each moment perfectly. She is changing people's lives by changing her own life. Everyone should go out and buy ten copies of The Cactus Surgeon and give them to all their friends!" Michael Heppell, International Sunday Times No.1 best-selling author and described as 'one of the top 3 professional speakers in the world'.

Living in London, Hannah suffered burnout and was diagnosed with a functional neurological disorder. With no information available to help her, she found her own way to get better.

Growing up in a garden centre, her childhood was full of nature and plants. This was in stark contrast to the concrete of the capital, where she became unwell. In searching for the answers to her illness, she wonders whether being torn from her pot and replanted in a more hostile environment was the reason her body started to malfunction.

After seeking out alternative therapies, and moving to the countryside of North Essex, her ‘green recovery’ continued.

It’s a book of mindful moments, savouring the small wonders of nature.

Contains beautiful colour photographs of nature and from key moments in Hannah's life.
