Steve Cooper is a freelance writer based in Geelong. A former investigative journalist, he left newspapers to pursue his passion for fishing, and these days spends five months of the year on the water in Australia and overseas. He has regular columns in three Australian newspapers with a combined readership of more than 3.5 million, and writes columns for two Australian fishing magazines. Steve has a weekly radio show in Melbourne and has written more than 20 books, including Snapper Secrets, Fishing Techniques, and The Reel Issues.
