Biographie de l'auteur

Lindsay Brown : After completing a PhD on evolutionary genetics, and following a stint as a science editor, Lindsay started working for Lonely Planet. Lindsay is a former Publishing Manager of the Outdoor Activity Guides at Lonely Planet and he returns to the subcontinent to trek, write and photograph whenever possible. He has also contributed to Lonely Planet's India, South India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Pakistan & the Karakoram Highway guides, among others. Abigail Hole was first bewitched by India around 15 years ago, when she travelled around the north on a hot and bewildering summer trip. She has returned at least every couple of years with increasingly regularity - visiting three times in 2010 alone. She wrote the very first edition of Rajasthan, Delhi & Agra and has written on India for various newspapers and magazines, including Lonely Planet Magazine. Daniel McCrohan has been travelling to India on and off for almost 20 years. His writing career began in London in the late 1990s, and he worked there as a news and sports reporter for seven years before switching to travel. He now specialises in India and China, and has cowritten six Lonely Planet guidebooks for this part of the world, including India, China and Tibet. He now lives in China, but never tires of returning to India thanks to the gems it throws up each visit. John Noble, from England. lives in Spain and has written about 20 countries for Lonely Planet. He first experienced India in the days of Rajiv Gandhi but has never written about it until now. Best on-the-road decision in Rajasthan: to blow his budget on a night at Udai Bilas Palace, Dungarpur. Best surprise: discovering that camels are a lot easier to ride than horses.
