À propos de l?auteur

Lisa Valmorbida has loved gelato since forever. After several years working in Melbourne restaurants, she traveled to Carpigiani Gelato University in Bologna (yes, it's really a thing) to learn from the world's best. As a graduate, she visited her family's hometown of Vincenza, the place where she first experienced real gelato with her nonno. She returned to Melbourne to open Pidapipo - first in Lygon Street, Carlton in 2014, and later Chapel Street, Windsor. The name is inspired by an Italian version of Simon Says she played as a child with her nonno. Her mission at Pidapipo is to serve truly seasonal gelato that is respectful of the ingredient and made from scratch daily and served from authentic pozzeti all year round.
