Mel Pearce is an award-winning artist from Western Australia. Her first picture book, No! Never!, won the Children’s Book Council of Australia Award for Book of the Year for Early Childhood. She loves to scribble with inks and pencils, and will almost always be found with at least one or two sketchbooks in her bag, just in case. Mel lives north of the river in Perth with her dingo-dog.
